‘Connected for Warmth’ is an exciting new scheme offering fully funded new gas central heating systems to over 1000 households that need a helping hand with their energy bills.
Subject to a detailed survey, we can also arrange a free connection to the gas main, ensuring that even homes that are currently without gas can benefit from affordable heat and hot water.
The scheme will be running across the entire area served by Cadent as the Gas Distribution Network Operator – this includes most of the North West, the Midlands, the East of England and North London.
Affordable Warmth Solutions will provide the new gas connections and their partner Cadent will also invest up to a million pounds into the new central heating systems, helping ensure that their most vulnerable customers are supported with the latest energy efficient gas boilers.
Connected for Warmth was launched on the 29th November and it is expected to run until late 2021. The main source of funding for the scheme is the £150 million Warm Homes Fund, which has been provided by National Grid and is also being administered by Affordable Warmth Solutions.
The Connected for Warmth scheme is being managed by AgilityEco and has also received the endorsement of a number of local councils.
